Frederique Constant have been popping up on the horological radar with greater frequency in the last year or so, most memorably with their very competitively priced Classics Manufacture range (which we love), and their bang-on trend Slimline collection.
Their newest offering extends the Slimline collection and kicks it up a notch by adding a tourbillon. The Slimline Tourbillon Manufacture demonstrates a very tasteful display of the tourbillon. Frederique Constant are well known for their 'Open Heart' watches, they do them well, and this is no exception.
The titular movement is a 60 second tourbillon, the cage at six also operates as the replica watches second hand. The manufacture movement also features a silicium escapement and has a 48 hour power reserve. Frederique Constant has also implemented a day/night indicator into this model - the double tipped sun/moon hand indicating how sunny it should be outside on the retrograde hour display is a relatively subtle implementation of this complication.
This fake watch comes in two flavours, a polished stainless case and and an option with an 18k rose gold bezel. The case is 43mm wide and 11.8mm thick. Production is limited to 188 pieces per model.
The price, while will not as affordable as the $2,000 and change asking price on the Classics Manufacture is still very competitive, as far as manufacture tourbillons go. The stainless version comes in at 26,500 euro and 28,500 for the rose gold bezel option.
All in all this is a creditable and sophisticated offering from a brand continues to impress us. For more details click here.Frederique-constant Introducing The epure Collection From Boucheron Live Pics Pricing 8641
